About
Aafke holds a Master’s in natural history illustration and environmental studies from The Royal College of Art in Londen UK and is passionate about building an inclusive art community and teaching art to improve people’s lives and to leave the World a better place than she found it.
She currently teaches online and is a content creator on YouTube. She has previously exhibited her art internationally, illustrated for some of the most prestigious publishers, like the Folio Society, and is also still active as a freelance illustrator.
Originally from the Netherlands, she studied in Groningen and London, worked in The Netherlands, Germany and England, and is now based in Dallas TX with her horse, dog, pigeon and husband. She loves books, antiques, horses, dogs sports, and matcha tea.
